  • Network connectivity state

The application does not read permanent hardware identifiers such as Android ID, IMEI, MAC address or serial number. Standard technical information accompanying network requests, such as IP address and request headers, may be recorded by the server in logs for approximately 30 days.

6. Push Notifications

South City College uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver notifications such as assignments, announcements and institutional messages.

The application sends the notification registration token and limited device information, including manufacturer, model and Android version, to the institution's server for notification delivery.

FCM is used solely as the notification delivery service. No academic records, attendance, marks, submitted files or passwords are sent to Firebase for analytics or advertising purposes.

7. How Information Is Used

Information is used to:

  • Authenticate users

  • Maintain signed-in sessions

  • Apply role-based permissions

  • Display academic and institutional records

  • Manage attendance, assignments and examinations

  • Display results and other academic information

  • Submit authorized user entries to the learning management system

  • Deliver institutional notifications

  • Cache recently accessed content

  • Maintain application preferences

Information is not used for advertising, behavioural profiling or unrelated marketing purposes.

8. Data Sharing

Information is primarily transmitted to:

  1. The E2E Learning Management System server at e2eportalv2.solveetech.com

  2. Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging service for push notification delivery

The application contains no advertising endpoint, analytics endpoint or other third-party data collection SDK.

Within the learning management system, information may be accessible to the user, authorized teachers and administrators, linked parents or guardians, and other authorized participants in subject discussions according to institutional permissions.

Information is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

9. Data Storage and Security

The learning management server and its backups are located in Nepal.

The application uses HTTPS for communication with the server. Session tokens are stored using the Android system keystore, passwords are not stored on the device, and Android application backup is disabled.

The application also separates cached data between accounts and removes stored session information when a user signs out.

10. Data Retention

Cached content on the device older than 24 hours is discarded. Signing out removes the session token, profile information, cache and stored notification registration from the device.

Uninstalling the application removes information stored by the application on the device.

Server-side academic, student, staff and parent records are retained according to the institution's records policy and may be retained for the lifetime of the institutional record. Device notification registrations are retained until deactivated or retired by the server.

11. Account and Data Deletion

The application does not provide an in-app account deletion feature. Accounts are created and managed by South City College.

Users can:

  • Sign out of the application

  • Disable notifications through Android settings

  • Uninstall the application

These actions remove locally stored application information but do not automatically delete records stored in the learning management system.

To request deletion of applicable institutional or personal records, contact South City College:

Data Deletion Email: [email protected]

Deletion requests may be subject to verification and applicable institutional record-retention requirements.

12. Children's Privacy

The application is intended for enrolled students, parents, teaching staff and administrators of South City College.

There is no public sign-up. Users access the application using credentials issued by the institution.
