Privacy Policy – Radiant College

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled by the Radiant College Android application, provided for Radiant College and developed by SolveeTech Solutions.

1. Application Information

The application connects to the E2E Learning Management System production server to provide authorized students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators with access to institutional and academic services.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the user's role, the application may process:

  • Name, email address, user ID and role

  • Student and enrollment information

  • Attendance records

  • Assignments, submissions and teacher feedback

  • Quizzes, examinations and results

  • Grades, marks and academic records

  • Timetables and subject information

  • Library records

  • Fee and scholarship information

  • Parent or guardian information

  • Teacher and staff information

  • Profile photographs

  • Institutional notifications

  • Files uploaded by users

  • Device information required for push notifications

The application does not collect location, contacts, SMS, camera or microphone data, Bluetooth information, advertising identifiers, health or biometric information, or payment-card information. It also does not use advertising or analytics services.

3. Account Information

Accounts are created by Radiant College. Users cannot create an account directly through the application.

For authentication, the application sends the user's email address, password and organisation code to the learning management server.

Passwords are not stored on the user's device. After successful authentication, the application stores a session token and basic profile information required to maintain the signed-in session.

4. How We Use Information

Information is used to:

  • Authenticate users

  • Provide role-based access

  • Display academic and institutional records

  • Manage attendance, assignments and examinations

  • Display academic results

  • Allow authorized users to submit or update information

  • Deliver institutional notifications

  • Maintain application functionality

  • Support application security and operation

Information is not used for advertising, behavioural profiling or targeted marketing.

5. Push Notifications

Radiant College uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications.

The application may send a notification registration token and limited device information, such as device manufacturer, model and Android version, to the institution's server so notifications can be delivered to the appropriate device.

Notification messages are delivered through Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging service. Users can disable notifications through their Android device settings.

6. Data Sharing

Information is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Information may be processed by:

  • Radiant College and its authorized users according to their roles and permissions

  • The E2E Learning Management System

  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notification delivery

Academic records, attendance, marks, submitted files and credentials are not provided to advertising or analytics services.

7. Data Storage and Security

The learning management server and its backups are located in Nepal.

Communication between the application and the learning management server uses HTTPS. Session information is stored using protected Android storage, and passwords are not stored on the device.

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information from unauthorized access or misuse.

8. Data Retention

Institutional academic records are retained according to Radiant College's records policy and may be retained for the lifetime of the institutional record.

Server logs containing standard technical request information, such as IP addresses and request headers, are retained for approximately 30 days.

Locally cached application information is handled according to the application's storage and sign-out behavior.

9. Account and Data Deletion

The application does not provide an in-app account deletion feature. Accounts are created and managed by Radiant College.

Users can sign out or uninstall the application to remove locally stored application information from their device. This does not automatically delete institutional records stored on the server.

10. Children's Privacy

Radiant College is intended for enrolled students, parents, teaching staff and administrators.

The application does not provide public registration. Access requires credentials issued by the institution.

The application does not contain advertising, behavioural tracking or targeted advertising.

11. Third-Party Services

The application uses:

Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — used to deliver push notifications.

The application does not use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, advertising networks, third-party sign-in providers or payment gateways.

12. User Privacy Requests

Users may contact Radiant College regarding:

  • Access to their information

  • Correction of inaccurate information

  • Deletion requests

  • Questions about how their information is used

  • Notification-device registration or deregistration

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application or information-handling practices change.

The updated policy will be published with a revised Last Updated date.
